賽爾吉歐·佛朗哥,出生于意大利的弗里埃雷(Friuli),獲伊利諾伊大學(University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)博士學位。早期他曾在美國和意大利均有過工業方面的工作經歷,并于l980年就職于美國舊金山州立大學(San Francisco State University)。在該校培養出了數百位成功的模擬工程師,他們以高薪受聘于硅谷。Franco博士還是McGraw—Hill出版的Analog Circuit Design-Discrete & Integrated這本教科書的作者。更多信息可見作者的網站http://online.sfsu.edu/sfranco/。
