《英語(yǔ)報(bào)刊選讀教程（第三版）》是在2010年第二版教材的基礎(chǔ)上修訂而成。新版教材在沿用原有編寫理念的同時(shí)在文章選材、板塊設(shè)計(jì)、練習(xí)編排等方面進(jìn)行了修訂。該書按主題分為8個(gè)單元，每單元包括1篇新聞，3篇文章，所選文章漸進(jìn)地增加閱讀長(zhǎng)度和難度，其后附上一定的閱讀理解和詞匯練習(xí)，以及適量的寫作練習(xí)，適合大中專院校中已完成英語(yǔ)初級(jí)階段學(xué)習(xí)的非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)者使用，所選閱讀文章均來(lái)自近年來(lái)原版英文報(bào)刊雜志，題材多樣。此外，為方便使用，該書附有練習(xí)答案。 《英語(yǔ)報(bào)刊選讀教程（第三版）》同樣適合大中專院校中水平較高的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者和大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四六級(jí)、研究生入學(xué)考試及TOFEL、GRE等各類考生備考使用。
