《自然》百年科學經典-第六卷-(英漢對照版) 內容簡介
十卷本《<自然>百年科學經典》(英漢對照版)是國內**套英漢雙語對照版的《自然》論文精選集，由外語教學與研究出版社聯合麥克米倫出版集團和自然出版集團共同策劃出版。《<自然>百年科學經典》由著名物理學家李政道先生擔任總顧問，并由中國科學院前任院長路甬祥院士、《自然》雜志前任主編約翰馬多克斯（sirjohnmaddox）爵士和現任主編菲利普坎貝爾（philipcampbell）博士出任主編。該叢書匯集了自《自然》雜志1869年創刊以來近150年間自然科學各領域（生物、物理、化學、天文、材料、基礎醫學、地球科學等）的重大發現和發明。每篇文章均配有由《自然》雜志資深編輯撰寫的簡短導讀，中文譯文由國內各領域的著名專家審稿把關。與此前世界范圍內曾出版過的各種《自然》論文選集相比，本套叢書涵蓋時間跨度之廣，所選篇目之多，都是史無前例的。 《<自然>百年科學經典》第六卷收錄了自1973年至1984年發表在《自然》雜志上的經典論文，涵蓋了物理、化學、生物、天文、地球科學五個學科領域，共計76篇。在這期間，物理學、天文學、地球科學、生命科學等領域均出現了突破性的進展：核磁共振成像技術的實現；霍金關于黑洞輻射的提出；氯氟烴將破壞臭氧層的預言；被稱為“人類祖母”的古人類化石“露西”的發現；單克隆抗體技術的建立；首次實現胚胎干細胞的體外培養…… 百年自然科學的波瀾壯闊，盡在《〈自然〉百年科學經典》！
