《大學英語報刊選讀教程：讀與寫》按新聞文體分為三個部分：新聞、特寫、評論。每部分包含6篇文章，所選文章漸進地增加閱讀長度和難度，其后附上一定的閱讀理解和詞匯練習，以及適量的寫作講解練習。 本書基于讀寫相長的理念，充分考慮中國學生英語學習的薄弱之處，旨在通過*新鮮、*豐富的報刊語言材料。充分利用報刊文章的語言典型性、內(nèi)容廣泛性和行文結(jié)構(gòu)的可模仿性，訓練其主動索取信息的能力和為信息而閱讀的能力，訓練摘要寫作和觀點陳述的能力，同時訓練其學術(shù)寫作的基本技能，包括如何定義，重述別人觀點等等，以及信息整合、提煉及評論能力。本書適合大中院校高年級學生使用，附有練習答案。

大學英語報刊選讀教程讀與寫 作者簡介
胡陽，清華大學外語系副教授，長期教授“英語報刊選讀”課程，同時為清華大學’學生學習與發(fā)展指導中心咨詢專家。2003年8月一2004年5月，任教于美國Baylor大學外語系漢語教研室。近年來主要從事大學生外語自學能力及外語閱讀能力方面的研究，在《外語教學》、《清華大學教育研究》等核心刊物發(fā)表論文數(shù)篇，編寫出版教材數(shù)部，代表著作為《英語報刊選讀教程》和《奧運英語報道選讀》等。
