夏和桃，骨科主任醫師，曾任首都醫科大學生物工程系副主任，兼任中華創傷分會骨外固定技術培訓中心主任；曾任中華骨科分會骨外固定學組副組長，以及《中國矯形外科雜志》編委，《中華創傷骨科雜志》編委。自20世紀80年代以來，在骨外固定原理研究、器械創新和臨床應用方面創新求進取得了卓越的成績，提出了具有實際指導意義的肢體再生控制學。
