本書以2019年公開發行的紀錄片《美國工廠》為研究對象,以霍夫斯泰德的文化維度理論和托馬斯-基爾曼沖突管理模式為理論基礎,通過定性分析和深度訪談,對發生在福耀美國公司的跨文化沖突進行研究,明確了該沖突凸顯的11個問題和涉及到的五個文化維度,分析了福耀公司采取的五種沖突管理策略,確定了選擇跨文化沖突策略的衡量標準和長短期定位,進而制定了具體的跨文化沖突戰略管理計劃和應對策略,為其他中國跨國公司管理跨文化沖突提供了有效的借鑒。
