毛眺源，男，博士（后），特聘教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。于北京外國語大學(xué)中國外語與教育研究中心獲得語言學(xué)博士（期間在麻省理工學(xué)院語言學(xué)與哲學(xué)系進(jìn)行博士學(xué)業(yè)聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)），以及在麻省理工學(xué)院語言學(xué)與哲學(xué)系從事博士后研究。在清華大學(xué)出版社出版專著《中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者導(dǎo)句語類研究》，在Language, Language and Linguistics,《外國語》《現(xiàn)代外語》等 外核心期刊發(fā)表論文多篇。
