《德里克·沃爾科特詩集：1948—2013》選取了詩人傳奇生涯中各個(gè)階段的詩作。例如，他*早的作品《我十八歲》，發(fā)表時(shí)，年不及弱冠；還有他廣為人知的詩篇，如《非洲已遠(yuǎn)》，其中談到了暴力問題，講到了在血液中分裂的忠誠；又如他的成熟作品，出自詩集《星蘋果王國》的《縱帆船“飛翔號(hào)”》。 在65年的詩歌生涯中，沃爾科特處理了那些既標(biāo)定其作品，也標(biāo)定其生活的主題：難以解決的身份之謎；在他原生的加勒比島國圣盧西亞，殖民主義留下的痛苦的遺產(chǎn)；信和愛的神秘，以及自然世界；知名卻又存在問題的西方正典；衰老、喪友、家庭、個(gè)人記憶的創(chuàng)傷。由沃爾科特的好友、英國詩人格林·麥克斯韋編選的這部詩集，就像上面這些問題，也像種種推動(dòng)沃爾科特在半個(gè)多世紀(jì)里筆耕不輟的激情一樣，經(jīng)久而不衰。 本詩集依據(jù)的版本為格林·麥克斯韋（Glyn Maxwell，1962-）編選的《德里克·沃爾科特詩集：1948-2013》（Faber & Faber，2014）。編者麥克斯韋是當(dāng)代英國著名詩人，曾就讀于牛津大學(xué)，是沃爾科特的學(xué)生和好友。這部詩集是對(duì)沃爾科特詩歌生涯*為權(quán)威的總結(jié)，收錄了除《奧馬羅斯（荷馬）》之外的幾乎全部經(jīng)典詩作，尤其是節(jié)選了另一部奠定沃爾科特詩名的長詩《另一生》和沃爾科特*后一部長詩《提埃坡羅的獵犬》，全文收錄《縱帆船“飛翔號(hào)”》和《星蘋果王國》，以及《幸運(yùn)的旅行者》《世界之光》《阿肯色圣約》《恩賜》等代表作；其中還修改了之前版本的不少文字。但其中*后一部詩集《白鷺》已在國內(nèi)出版（廣西人民社），遵照版權(quán)，本詩集未收，但題目仍保持原版標(biāo)題的年代“1948-2013”。 詩集分翻譯和評(píng)注兩大部分，評(píng)注部分60萬字，由中譯者撰寫，涉及了詩人生平、寫作緣起、題解、異文、字句、修辭、格律、典故、自然風(fēng)物、影響、詩意等若干方面，譯者參考了幾十種權(quán)威和**的國外學(xué)者研究著作、評(píng)注和論文，也利用了多種**的工具書，尤其是與加勒比的英語法語方言和西印度宗教文化相關(guān)的詞典。

作者簡介 德里克??沃爾科特（1930-2017），圣盧西亞詩人，戲劇家，散文家，畫家，曾就讀于西印度群島大學(xué)莫納分校，任教于波士頓大學(xué)、阿爾伯塔大學(xué)，最終在英國埃塞克斯大學(xué)獲得詩歌教授的教席。沃爾科特是現(xiàn)當(dāng)代英語詩壇最為杰出的詩人之一，1988年獲女王詩歌金章，1990年獲W.H.史密斯文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)，1992年獲諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。 代表作有三大長詩：《另一生》、《奧馬羅斯（荷馬）》、《提埃坡羅的獵犬》以及《城市死于火》、《非洲已遠(yuǎn)》、《克魯索的日記》、《海葡萄》、《縱帆船“飛翔號(hào)”》、《星蘋果王國》、《幸運(yùn)的旅行者》、《世界之光》、《阿肯色圣約》、《恩賜》等。 譯者簡介 鴻楷（何博超），中國社會(huì)科學(xué)院哲學(xué)研究所，副研究員，研究方向?yàn)楣畔ＥD哲學(xué)，東方哲學(xué)，現(xiàn)當(dāng)代美學(xué)和詩學(xué)。亦從事詩歌寫作與翻譯。
