本書包括三個部分：（一）2019—2020年北京地區研究生英語學位課統考真題和模擬題；（二）統考真題和模擬題答案及錄音文字稿；（三）統考真題和模擬題精解。
統考題的考查重點是基礎知識，強調主動使用英語的能力。詞匯部分以常見詞為主，考查的重點是國外流行而本國學生不熟悉的用法、使用時容易出錯的詞、經常在靠前被錯誤理解的用法和近年流行的用法。翻譯考查的重點是語法和句型的使用，而寫作部分建議學生盡量避免使用范文或套句，否則扣分。建議同學們在日常閱讀時學會觀察，注意基礎知識的積累，夯實語法基礎，提高表達能力。

魯顯生，教授，軍事醫學院公共外語教研室主任，北京市高等教育學會研究生英語教學研究分會副會長。 盧鹿，香港大學英語語言教育專業博士，中國農業科學院研究生院外語教研室主任，副研究員。主要從事非英語專業研究生英語閱讀與寫作教學工作。研究領域為學術英語寫作、英語教學教法。公開發表多篇學術論文，出版學術專著1部，參與多部英語教材編寫工作。
