《菜根譚:漢英對照》是“處世三奇書”之一,其余兩部分別為《小窗幽記》和《圍爐夜話》。這是明代洪應明收集編撰的一本論述正心修身、養性育德的語錄體小品集。本書以“菜根”命名,表達“嚼得菜根,百事可做”的思想,即“人可通過艱苦磨練獲得才智修養”。文辭優美,對仗工整,短小精粹,耐人尋味,融儒、道、佛三家思想以及作者的生活體驗為一體,蘊含著深刻的哲理,是中華民族傳統文化的結晶。收錄原作的同時,配以中文注釋、今文解譯、英文注釋和英文翻譯,便于中外各層次讀者理解文意,感受中國古典文化的精妙。

菜根譚:英漢對照 作者簡介

周文標,上海市作家協會會員,1954年生于上海市,1975年大學畢業,長期從事英漢、漢英文學方面的翻譯工作,譯有美國長篇小說《叛艦喋血》(1983),合譯有英國長篇小說《閑話欄之爭》(1986),主編《世界名言博引詞典》(1990)、《多功能英漢案頭大辭源》(1993)、中國明朝清言集《菜根譚》(2009)。 應佳鑫,1987年生于上海,2012年畢業于復旦大學國際文化交流學院對外漢語專業,獲得碩士學位。在《中文自修》《學習報》《黃浦教育研究》等多家報刊發表教科研論文及其他文章數篇。
