熊俊，女，教授，1972年11月出生于湖北省麻城市。湖北工程學院翻譯研究中心主任、外國語學院英語系主任、教學督導組長，中國翻譯認知研究會常務理事，中國先秦史學會國學雙語研究會常務理事，中國翻譯協會專家會員．湖北省翻譯協會理事，武漢翻譯協會常務理事。美國期刊International Journal of Language and Linguistics（IJLL）編委，澳大利亞季刊Journal of Sociology編委。主要講授英漢翻譯、翻譯批評與賞析、高級翻譯實踐等課程。 1996年6月畢業于武漢工業大學（現武漢理工大學）外語系，獲英語語言文學學士學位：2010年獲華中師范大學英語語言文學碩士學位。2014年12月晉升為教授。主要研究方向為翻譯理論與實踐。發表論文30余篇，英文專著l部，主編、參編翻譯教材5部，主持并完成省校級科研項目8項。曾先后應邀出席第十八屆世界翻譯大會（中國上海2008）、第六屆亞洲翻譯家論壇（中國澳門2010）、國際翻譯與跨文化交流大會（澳大利亞2011）、第七屆亞洲翻譯家論壇（馬來西亞2013）、第二十屆世界翻譯大會（德國2014）、第五屆亞太翻譯與跨文化研究論壇（美國2016）交流并宣讀論文（相關論文均被收入會后公開出版的論文集）。多次擔任高水平翻譯學術會議分論壇主持人或評議人或作總結發言。近年翻譯材料60余萬字。 獲頒中國先秦史學會國學雙語研究會“特別貢獻獎”、湖北省“十佳中青年翻譯學者”、“湖北省譯協、武漢譯協2010—2012年優秀理事”稱號，8次獲湖北省翻譯協會學術成果獎（5個“二等獎”、3個“三等獎”），5次獲“湖北省優秀學士學位論文（指導教師）”稱號。“第二屆全國口譯大賽（英語）”優秀指導教師獎．“第四屆海峽兩岸口譯大賽大陸賽區湖北分賽區選拔賽”三等獎（指導教師），第二十五屆湖北省翻譯大賽英語專業A組筆譯組特等獎“優秀指導教師”和“優秀組織工作者”。曾多次獲校級“教學成果獎”、“教學優秀獎”、“年度考核優秀獎”、“專業技術考核優秀獎”、“優秀共產黨員”、“三育人”先進個人、“優秀學士學位論文（指導教師）”、“優秀班主任”、“優秀實習指導教師”、“優秀女教職工”等獎勵。
