在語料收集和方法論上，《英漢社會話語中的隱喻比較研究：以政治演說為例》選取了高校演講、國慶日致辭、抗震救災(zāi)演講、新年祝詞和就職演說等五類主題文本，并運用批評性隱喻分析法，即語境分析、隱喻識別、隱喻分類和隱喻闡釋對語料進行比較研究。

本書以概念隱喻理論為分析框架，采用定量和定性相結(jié)合的研究方法，并基于CMA分析法（即語境分析、隱喻識別、隱喻分類和隱喻闡釋）對英漢社會話語中的概念隱喻進行比較研究。本書重點研討了以下內(nèi)容：1) 英漢概念隱喻的普遍性特征；2) 英漢抽象概念通過隱喻構(gòu)建和實現(xiàn)的問題；3) 英漢隱喻的概念結(jié)構(gòu)；4) 以概念隱喻為分析框架，系統(tǒng)比較英漢隱喻概念的差異性，并從語言體驗視角闡釋其因素。

柳超健，博士研究生，講師，美國杰克遜維爾州立大學(xué)訪問學(xué)者，研究方向為認知語言學(xué)、語料庫語言學(xué)、對比語言學(xué)。已在《外語學(xué)刊》、《外語教學(xué)理論與實踐》、《外語電化教學(xué)》等刊物發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文10余篇。參與完成國家社科基金項目1項、主持完成省社科規(guī)劃課題1項、廳級課題2項、校級科研與教改課題8項。曾獲得省級教學(xué)比賽獎2項，并獲得美國杰克遜維爾州立大學(xué)“訪問學(xué)者特殊貢獻獎”、教育部本科教學(xué)合格評估“先進個人”等榮譽。
