About The Book
"Sculptural Landscape Architecture" refers to the application of the
creation concept of sculpture in landscape architecture,which regards
landscape as a large-scale "sculpture".Through the "sculpturing"process
of the landscape,the author's creation idea is completely expressed, and
the artistry and the scientificalness are perfectly combined.
The Nanhai Lake Project is a classic of integrated designs of sculpture
and landscape, which reflects artist Xianfeng Li's "Large-scale Sculpture"
concept, i.e. the sculpture and the landscape is an inseparable whole; the
design of the sculpture must be in harmony with the landscape, and the
landscape creates artistic atmosphere for the sculpture.
The author uses poetic language to interpret the design concept of Li and
his team's Nanhai Lake Project. The key concept of the design is
elaborated statistically and the beauty of the completed landscape
architecture is showed by exquisite pictures.
The author hopes to communicate his ideas with artists and professionals
through the publication of this book.
