Chapter One （開始—00:04:15） 名稱解讀： 影片名Zootopia是zoo + utopia（烏托邦）的組合。Utopia（烏托邦） 是英國空想社會主義者托馬斯·莫爾（Thomas More）所著書名的簡稱。作者在書里描寫了他所想象的沒有階級的幸福社會，并把這種社會叫作烏托邦，也可以理解為中國的世外桃源。 這部電影以烏托邦為基礎，想象各種動物和諧地生活（live in harmony）在動物城里。各種動物安居樂業，各得其所。從這個角度來說，Zootopia這個創意就很貼切了，不過影片官方的中文翻譯為《瘋狂動物城》，走的是商業化的道路，類似的翻譯還有《瘋狂原始人》（The Croods）、 《上帝也瘋狂》（The God Must Be Crazy）、《修女也瘋狂》（Sister Act）。 作為迪士尼影業出品的一部優秀動畫片，該片于2016年3月4日在中國大陸與北美同步上映。2016年12月，《瘋狂動物城》被美國電影學會選為2016年度十佳電影。2017年1月，獲得第74屆美國電影電視金球獎*佳動畫長片獎。2017年2月，該片獲得第89屆奧斯卡金像獎*佳動畫長片獎。 值得一提的是，在2019年國產動畫電影《哪吒之魔童降世》上映之前，國內上映的動畫電影票房榜的榜首一直都是由《瘋狂動物城》占據。所以，在欣賞這部迪士尼電影的同時，我們也希望國產動畫能有更多的杰作供我們欣賞。閑話少說，下面進入**章。 Fear, treachery（背叛）, blood lust（渴望）. （1）Thousands of years ago these were the forces that ruled our world，a world where prey（獵物） were scared of predators（食肉動物、捕食者） . That is the （8） most stupidest thing I ever heard! （1）Thousands of years ago these were the forces that ruled our world，a world where prey were scared of predators.這句話里出現由that和where引導的兩處定語從句：that引導的定語從句，先行詞force，that在從句作主語。這句話理解為統治我們世界的力量；where引導的定語從句，此處理解為一個獵物害怕捕食者的世界。 be scared of:害怕；恐懼 e.g.Be confident.Dont be scared of your opponents.要有自信，不要害怕你的對手。 本句大意：幾千年前，就是這些力量統治著我們的世界，一個獵物害怕捕食者的世界。 （2）uncontrollable biological urge:難以控制的本能沖動 uncontrollable的詞根為control（控制），通過附加否定前綴un 和形容詞后綴able得來。 e.g.unbelievable: 難以置信的 urge：n.沖動v.催促 e.g.I was so hungry that I urged the waiter to serve the dishes faster.我太餓了，催促服務生上菜再快點。 （3）divide:分開(側重于把整體分成部分) It may seem impossible to small minds.Im looking at you, Gideon Grey.But, （9） just 211 miles away, stands the great city of Zootopia. (5) live in harmony:和諧相處 (6) not anymore=no more：不再 (7) astronaut：宇航員 astro是一個前綴，表示和星星、天體、宇宙有關的事物，比如astronomer: 天文學家；astronomy: 天文學。 （8）most stupidest：此處其實是有語法錯誤的，小孩子把*高級的用法重疊了，正確表達應該是stupidest 或者the most stupid。 (9)just 211 miles away, stands the great city of Zootopia 為完全倒裝句，即把所有謂語動詞提到句首。當表示地點、方位的介詞短語位于句首時，句子使用完全倒裝的形式。 e.g.Under the tree lay a boy. Yes! Your dad, me, your 275 brothers and sisters, were changing the world. Yeah.One carrot at a time. （11）Amen to that.Carrot farming is a noble profession. Just pulling their seeds out. And one with the soil.Just getting covered in dirt. You get it（理解）, honey? I mean, its great to have dreams. Yeah, just （12）as long as you dont believe in them too much.（又一句發人深省的話哦!） Where the heckd （heck did 的縮寫） she go? 正常語序：A boy lay under the tree.
