伊索寓言 內容簡介
《伊索寓言》共收集了360篇小故事，大部分是經過后人整理的，除匯集了古希臘流傳的各類小故事外，還加進了印度、阿拉伯的故事。每一個故事蘊涵著一個深刻的道理，給我們以啟發。在這本書中我們便從中精選了好故事獻給讀者們。 《伊索寓言》故事短小精悍，主人公雖然大多是狐貍、獅子、狼、小羊……卻睿智地折射出了人間百態，寓意深刻，讓人回味無窮。讀者在閱讀中文的同時亦可提高英語閱讀技巧，可謂一舉兩得。 本書采用的英文是喬治·法伊勒·湯森的譯本。收錄湯森版本中的312個故事，另外在綜合比較的基礎上，刪去內容有重復的故事，從其他幾個英譯本中收錄了與湯森選本不同的一些故事，共收寓言故事405則。故事編排以寓言中出色的角色為線索，把同類角色歸納在一處，并以角色的英文譯名的字母順序先后排列，便于讀者查找。

伊索寓言 作者簡介
伊索（公元前620年公元前560年），是公元前6世紀的古希臘的一個寓言家，生活在小亞細亞。弗里吉亞人。據希羅多德記載，他原是薩摩斯島雅德蒙家的奴隸，后來被德爾菲人殺害。他死后德爾菲流行瘟疫，德爾菲人出錢賠償他的生命，這筆錢被老雅德蒙的同名孫子領去。傳說雅德蒙給他自由以后，他經常出入呂底亞國王克洛伊索斯的宮廷。另外還傳說，庇西特拉圖統治期間，他曾到雅典訪問，對雅典人講了《請求派王的青蛙》這個寓言，勸阻他們不要用別人替換庇西特拉圖。13世紀發現的一部《伊索傳》的抄本中，他被描繪得丑陋不堪，從這部傳記產生了很多有關他的故事。公元前5世紀末，“伊索”這個名字已為希臘人所熟知，希臘寓言開始都歸在他的名下。得墨特里奧斯(公元前345—公元前283)編輯了希臘第一部寓言集(已佚)。1世紀和2世紀，費德魯斯和巴布里烏斯分別用拉丁文和希臘文寫成兩部詩體的伊索寓言。現在常見的《伊索寓言》是后人根據拜占庭僧侶普拉努得斯搜集的寓言及以后陸續發現的古希臘寓言傳抄本編訂的。伊索寓言大多是動物故事，其中的一部分(如《狼與小羊》《獅子與野驢》等)用豺狼、獅子等兇惡的動物比喻人間的權貴，揭露他們的專橫、殘暴，虐害弱小，反映了平民或奴隸的思想感情；《烏龜與兔》《牧人與野山羊》等，則總結了人們的生活經驗，教人處世和做人的道理。伊索寓言短小精悍，比喻恰當，形象生動。和法國的拉封丹、德國的萊辛、俄國的克雷洛夫并稱世界四大寓言家。耶穌會傳教士在明代把伊索寓言傳入中國，金尼閣口述的譯本《況義》于1625年刊行，收寓言22則；1840年出版《意拾蒙引》，收寓言81則；此后又有不同的中譯本相繼世。現存的《伊索寓言》，是古希臘、古羅馬時代流傳下來的故事，經后人整理，統歸在伊索名下。因為伊索小時候長的很丑，所以大家都不喜歡他。不過他媽媽喜歡講故事給他聽。另外，他長大了在田里干活時，看到的有趣事物，大部分都被他編成精彩的故事。他的故事都是口授，可見他的記憶力非同一般。
