Zhang Rong, born in 1963, graduated from the Department of History of Nankai University, majoring in museums. She has been working for the Palace Museum in Beijing since 1985, and once served as deputy director of the Palace Department, and director of the Ancient Objects Department. She holds the academic title of research fellow. Major works published: Models of Ancient Lacquerwork and Appreciation, Snuff Bottles--Cultural Relics in Palm and Ancient Lacquerwrok.
